Metkleen 2200 is a liquid, acidic cleaner to deoxidize, descale and de-rust metals.

Metkleen 2200 will passivate and pickle metal surfaces to improve paint or plating adhesion.

Metkleen 2200 can be used in “rework operations” to simultaneously clean and de-rust parts.

Metkleen 2200 is NSF Approved A1 Food Grade. (See Below). It can be used to clean metal surfaces in and around food processing areas.

NOTE: Metkleen 2200 is approved A1 by NSF International and is acceptable for use as a general cleaner on all surfaces in and around food processing areas, where its use is not intended for direct food contact.

Directions for Use

Metkleen 2200 is typically diluted in water between 10% and 50%. The proper mixing ration is dependent on cleaning temperature, exposure time, composition of soil and application method.

METKLEEN 2200 is formulated to clean between 60°F and 150°F and can be applied by dip, tank or spray methods.
